Our mission is to enhance the lives of Washington County individuals and families by providing support to thrive.
What started as a drive to provide Thanksgiving meals to families in need is now growing to meet as many needs in our community as we can - from holiday meals to drives for kid's shoes, school supplies, and other needs we see that need to be met or are not met by other outreach programs.
Who We Serve
Our goal is to serve as many individuals and families in need in Brenham & Washington County as we can. In 2021 we served 105 families, and we hope to grow that number each year.
Our referrals come primarily from Brenham & Burton ISD counselors & principals offices, Casa for Kids,
Boys & Girls Club, Adam's Angels, Twin City Mission, and Brenham Pregnancy Center. We also have served home bound seniors, Washington County deaf families, and other individuals with disabilities.

HISTORY
In 2020, I saw a lot of families struggling with providing for their families due to job losses and illness related to the pandemic. My plan was to offer healthy Thanksgiving meals to as many families as possible and to involve local restaurant owners and other community oriented people to help in that process. With the help of Emily Morey, of Twin Cities Mission, we reached out to families who would most benefit from this program. We put together 65 meals for 65 families and delivered them to all the families. All the food was donated by the participating restaurants, LJ's BBQ and Country Sunshine. In 2021 we raised money locally so that we could provide even more families with Thanksgiving meals. We raised $7K which allowed us to provide 105 families with delicious Thanksgiving meals. Now that we know what we can do and now that we are an official 501(c)3 non-profit, we are going to start offering more outreach opportunities for families at Christmas time and in spring time with drives for kid's shoes, school supplies, and other needs we see that need to be met or are not met by other outreach programs.
